Welcome to a brand new blog following the journey of The Music Man Project - a unique full-time music education service for people with learning disabilities. I started working in this sector in 1999 with a single student. 20 years later I presented 200 musicians with a learning disability in front of 3000 people at the Royal Albert Hall. It was a dream come true. My next dream is to enable my students to perform on Broadway and to share my music service in every county in England, every country in the UK and every continent in the world. This is a story of high expectations and long journeys, campaigning for change and fulfilling dreams.
Here is a video about our story so far:
Thanks for joining the Music Man family and I hope you enjoy my blog!
